There are numerous alternatives to AlimLive for online Quran instruction, including several highly rated providers featuring native Egyptian Quran teachers available through a simple Google search. Despite entrusting AlimLive with advance payment, they declined to issue a refund when services were no longer rendered. In my view—and in line with Islamic teachings on fair financial dealings—this behavior reflects a serious breach of trust. AlimLive ultimately withheld money that I believe was not rightfully theirs to keep.
